At Forrester, Steffy tells Brooke she’s legitimately worried about Hope spending so much time with Finn. Brooke argues that they are friends and that’s what friends do. Steffy says it’s more than that and she knows it. Her parents are married and attend weddings and funerals together. Steffy complains that Hope has no common sense and shouldn’t have let Deacon influence her opinion about Sheila. Brooke becomes distracted, thinking about Hope’s confession that she has feelings for Finn. Steffy asks if she is listening now. “I need your daughter to keep her feelings to herself.”
At the cabin, Hope talks about how grateful she is that Finn was able to stop by and check on Beth. It’s a great relief and now his daughter sleeps peacefully thanks to it. Finn tells her she’s very welcome and asks her to never hesitate to call him about this kind of thing. Hope says, “I appreciate it…and I appreciate you.” Finn tells her that he wanted to go there; he could hear how worried she was. “It’s all good.” Hope wonders, “What can’t you fix?” Finn says when you work in an emergency room you see everything. Hope says her daughter is recovering and it’s all thanks to him. “Dr. Finnegan. ”
At Bill’s house, Poppy can’t believe she’s living there and recaps how it all happened. Bill tells her not to get used to it… he wants to take her to her yacht, the Stella Maris. Poppy thinks she has entered a dream. If they had met before, they could have raised Luna together. But the thought of what’s to come… They kiss. Just then, Katie walks in and says, “Oh, sorry. Alfred, at the guardhouse, let me in. She tells Bill, “I hear congratulations are in order.” Bill tells her that yes, he is Luna’s father. Poppy adds: “Bill and I have a daughter.”
Katie tells Bill that she’s just trying to figure out why he’s finding out Luna is his daughter now. Poppy says she didn’t know. Katie thinks she must have suspected. Bill says he asked her about it, but she denied it. She was scared. Katie asks, “Scared of what?” Bill responds, “Her love for me.” Katie reflects: “Oh…”

At the main office, Brooke thinks Steffy is going too far by forbidding them from being friends with Finn. Hope was just saying that it’s possible that Sheila has changed. Steffy asks, “Would you be open-minded?” Brooke replies: “No.” Steffy says right…that’s because she knows Sheila’s psychopath. Steffy doesn’t mind Brooke being around Finn, but the last thing she needs is Hope getting inside her husband’s head while she’s being manipulated by Deacon and Sheila!

At the cabin, Finn gives Hope instructions on how to care for Beth and reminds her that she can call him if she needs anything. They discuss how stressful it is when their children are sick. Hope calls him a miracle. He disputes, “I wouldn’t say that.” Hope whispers, “I would do.”

At Bill’s house, Katie muses, “Oh, we’re already using the ‘L’ word, I see.” Poppy asks how she couldn’t love Bill; He is a remarkable man and father of her son. Katie asks Bill if he’s ready for Poppy and Luna to move in. He grumbles, “I wouldn’t have asked otherwise.” Katie reflects: “Well, look at you. A totally new family. ” Bill puts his arm around Poppy, who gives Katie a mischievous smile.
In the main office, Steffy talks about Hope suggesting that Finn give his birth mother™ a chance. Brooke argues that the second Sheila slips up, Hope and Finn will see her in a different light. Steffy asks if they should wait until something terrible happens. “God forbid anything happens to Hope or Beth! This is why you have to talk to your daughter,” she pleads with Brooke. “You are her mother. She will listen to you. You have to get to her. Convince Hope she’s not thinking clearly!”
At the cabin, Hope tells Finn she hopes this doesn’t get him into trouble with Steffy, who wouldn’t want him there. Finn assures her that everyone cares about Beth. If she has no other questions, he should go. Hope wants to know how she can repay. “If you need anything, please let me know.” This meant a lot. “Thank you and keep proving what an amazing man you are.” She pulls him into a hug and not releases him. They separate and he gives her a strange look before leaving.
At Bill’s house, he tells Katie that he didn’t mean to keep Poppy a secret. Katie admits that she was surprised to walk in there and see Poppy and Luna making themselves at home. Bill admits this affects Will and they need to talk to him. Katie is sure he will be happy to meet Luna once he gets over the shock. Bill thinks, “I have a daughter and it’s all thanks to Poppy.” Katie rolls her eyes.
In the main office, Steffy asks Brooke to try and talk some sense into Hope. “That’s all I’m asking.” She leaves and Brooke warns Hope that she can’t feel feelings for Steffy’s husband. “You can’t knowingly go after Steffy’s husband.” She whispers, “I’m trying, Steffy, believe me. It’s a little more complicated than you think.”

At the cabin, Hope gets ready and thinks about hugging Finn and holding him. A knock comes on the door. Finn came back because he forgot his phone. She invites him in and tells him she’s glad he came. This gives her a chance to tell him something she’s been feeling for a while. Finn smiles, “OK.” Hope needs him to understand how big of an impact he has had on her life. He is beyond helping with the migraines and Beth. “It is more than that. Much more.” Finn asks, “What do you mean?” Hope thinks she understands him and that he understands her too. “I have to thank you for showing me how a man should be. Loyal, frank, committed, caring, compassionate, loving, and I just, I know I shouldn’t… but I can’t help it, I, I can’t stop thinking about you. Wanting you. Please tell me you feel this way too.” Suddenly, they are kissing passionately and Hope rips off his shirt.
Hope wakes up on her couch, out of breath, and sighs, “What am I doing? He is Steffy’s husband.
